Major Update - Build 26

It started as a two week graphical update. It became a complete overhaul of the game.

I've spent the past month and a half working hard to completely change and significantly expand the game. This includes a new system for losing, a new way to defend, a new main menu, numerous essential bugfixes, and some upgrades to go along with it! The game also no longer looks like it was made in MS Paint.

Originally, you defended a tower which enemies weakened by smashing against. However, now you defend a very symmetrical city from massive landcruisers which threaten to crush them, and their inhabitants, to tiny pieces. If the population drops to 0, you've officially failed your mission. Utilize a new upgrade tab to defend the city with the help of the locals.

Additionally, please enjoy the new UI and 3D models which now populate the game. The original graphics were merely placeholders, most of which have now been replaced with their intended art. However, by no means are these new graphics final. As the game's mechanics and story develop, so too will the graphics change to match the game's feel and mood. There's also a new camera system that allows you to see farther than normal, but be careful not to let the city out of your sight for too long!

Furthermore, we've designed a main menu with completely diagetic UI to get you into the mood of the game from the very start! Enjoy!

And, of course, bugfixes. Lots and lots of bugfixes. In case we've missed any, be sure to report them, it helps a lot!

Some eye candy: Use F1 to completely hide the UI (including all the menus)

A personal note:

I'd like to thank the great people in #general of the Rimworld Discord server. They gave me feedback, helped me test the game, and made my day when I was feeling down. I really can't express in words how they've motivated me to continue working on this project, and I really appreciate their efforts. Thanks, guys.

Well, that's it! A month and a half's work summarised in a few short paragraphs.... it feels unreal. Yet again, thank you to everyone who helped even a little bit in this game.

Burgerfanman, out.
